Let's be reality, I have been fighting for police reforms and self regulation for the better part of 25 years. Low key, Black people were given the chance to police themselves as police were really defunded and as such had a much reduced presence in many places and you know what happened, violent crime in a lot of those places has gone up considerably.
I think honestly continuing to a) Decriminalize Marijuana b) Lower the penalties for drug related crimes at the States level will alleviate a lot of the arrests for guys doing serious amounts of time for small amounts of drugs and children suffering because they saw drugs as en economic opportunity.
But I'm not shedding a tear for 'Ray-Ray' doing a dime because he tried to stick up a bodega.

I disagree with the thread title. It's not crazy, it was always obvious that the BLM movement of 2020 was an electoral strategy to gin up Dem voters against Trump in election. There was no doubt in my mind that the BLM love would die down after the election.
How does that classic saying go?....."Everything that happens in an election year is about the election".
