On some real shyt, I've learned to be on some selfish shyt regarding the black community. Call me whatever you want, I don't give a fukk. These nikkas don't love you. Only your family and close friends do. I was just talking to my pops about this shyt. There ain't no real unity in the black community no more. It's hate and division, and jealousy.

A shift in cultural mindset, which is obviously easier said than done. We're the only race in America that actively protects our undesirables. I'd even go as far as to say we put them on a pedestal (eg: rap music, "square" vs "real nikka" theory, etc). You only need to look at the attitudes in this thread, and others like it (eg: the one made last week about the homicide problem in our community) to see that this is a real thing. There's 0 accountability and instead of holding our criminals up to the fire we look to blame others for their actions. I've made a thread on this before. White people actively shun their bottom class and even give them a name, "white trash" as a means to disassociate.
I have a theory about why this happens. I call it "six degrees of nikkaration." () Essentially, criminality is so normalized in black America that a disproportionate amount of our people can point to a loved one who has been in/out of prison. It's either their dad, uncle, best friend, brother, mom, sister, or they themselves. If not a direct loved one, then a loved one of a friend, so on and so forth. And because of this lenient attitudes about criminality have been developed. It's hard to accept that Dr. Umar "put these nikkas down for good" talk when you got a close friend in the bing for violent robbery.
As a people, we need to take a hard stance on this shyt and start effectively policing our own communities. Y'all routinely talk about white supremacy this and white supremacy that but then turn around and expect white people to be the ones to come save us.
Honestly I can’t wait to see the shyt either make the criminals pay so the rest of us can actually live in peace, ain’t no reason why kids can’t play outside, actual “ogs” aka elders got to be on guard and Men and Women who actually are making an effort to better themselves the right way don’t have to have their head on a swivel cuz they don’t know if their going to be robbed walking home from work at night.In the Bronx, two dudes hit a 69 yr old man with a brick and robbed him.
