He won't get rid of roman

So the decision has already been made

Hopefully he stays in the league and doesn't go to Michigan so we can at least get something out of this

That's what I was wondering, why would we just release him to Michigan if we could at least trade him for something? Reports say that the 49ers and Michigan are coming to a deal, what does that mean? A deal for what?

They're gonna buy out the rest of his contract.

Whos gonna coach this team man the suspense is killin me. Word is Jim Tomsula is gonna get the gig. Jed Vader and Emperor Baalke like him. He's a good coach but my thing is can he find the right guy to run the offense. And who's gonna run his defense thats already top 5 despite the massive injury and off field bs.

Jed York is an idiot to let Harbs walk
:snoop:
It aint all on Jed though. Harbaugh wants to leave as well. He doesn't stay in one place long before he's on to the next challenge. I see the bigger picture. Both parties are mutually splitting its just a shame we couldnt pull it off when we had the chance against Baltimore:to:

Hopefully, if it is Tomsula, he can hire an OC that will play to our teams offensive strengths.
On defense, hopefully Fangio can stay if he doesn't get/want the HC job. If he leaves...I dunno? Rex Ryan, maybe?

I told my homeboy today that if Fangio goes with Harbaugh's ass to Michigan if Tomsula gets the job. Rex's defense would be stupid good for us. We have the pass rushers in Aldon and Lynch we just need a good press man corner

Someone made an interesting point on NN

I don’t think it’s York’s decision to keep Harbaugh…I think Harbaugh is a ready to go as York is to let him go…it’s a mutual divorce

This part stuck out to me…

August 1, 2014: Again speaking on the topic of a Harbaugh contract extension, York tells Matt Maiocco he spoke with Harbaugh about a new deal and Harbaugh decided that it was too early to do an extension, because as the leader of the team he didn’t want to set the wrong precedent by signing a new deal with two years remaining on his current

WTF?? If you want a deal you don’t delay negotiations, until after the season…because you might have a bad season. You at least start the negotiations and set the prospective parameters of any deal, imo

Also, I have never heard Harbaugh say this season that he wants to be the coach of the niners in the future, past the current 5th year on his deal. Harbaugh is a strange dude, but even he is not above lobbying to keep his own gig…But then again he doesn’t have to…He probably has his next job already lined up after the niners fire/trade/release him.

So again I say can you keep a guy that doesn’t wanna be kept?? Probably not

Maybe it was always Harbs intention to leave after this season :patrice:

there was just too much drama to deal with this year for any head coach to handle. from the front office leaks (they reported that harbs lost the locker room before the season even started :comeon:), to the disappointing on-the-field product, to the off-the-field drama, to players whining about their roles, it's no wonder why harbs is prolly going back to michigan

it was clear that jed/baalke decided a long time ago that they didn't want harbs around anymore. i didn't like the way they went about handling it but what's done is done. i just hope tomsula is ready to right the ship
