Never been to an nfl game, what makes it the worst experience for fans? Jw

Well, for starters, you're exposed to the elements for 4 hours straight with no way of avoiding it. This is manageable for the first half of the season but once it gets cold and you're sitting on a freezing cold plastic seat and it's 17 degrees out, all bets are off. :francis:

Football fans are also the most drunken and obnoxious from tailgating all morning and it makes for an uneasy fan experience. There are so many stoppages of play that you only notice when you're watching in person because you don't have RedZone channel or other games to flip back and forth between, to the point that you are watching absolutely nothing occurring the majority of the time.

Couple this with the fact that it is by far the most expensive overall game experience, and it's really a no brainer. Only reason I went last year was I got discounted tickets through a friend's work place and I wanted to see Peyton Manning in person and before that it had been at least 5 years or so.

Why would I bother? I got a nice ass TV I can watch every game and RedZone Channel on, there's cold beer in my fridge that isn't $11.50 a cup, I don't have to deal with fat drunken 50 year old men slurring garbage at rival fans and worry about having to throw hands on some prick who takes sports entirely too seriously, I don't have to get up at 7 am on a Sunday and start drinking before 10, be hungover by 4 and ruin the rest of my day off, I don't have to walk a mile and a half to and from the stadium from the parking lot, I don't have to pay $40 for the extreme privilege of parking my car, I don't have to sit in traffic for 60 minutes after the game just to leave the stadium, and if I want food I don't have to pay for a 7.00 hot dog. I can order a pizza or DVR the game while I cook something and come back to it. Not to mention you can always go to other peoples' spots or hit a bar if you want a more social experience, both of which are better options than physically attending the game.

Frankly, I may never pay to see another NFL game live in my entire life :manny:

That sounds pretty nightmarish for a non crowd fan like myself. I get claustrophobic easily and need to be near exits lol. I wanna go once just to say I went.

Before this season started, just based on his moves, and the amount of hate everyone had for him after they left, I told my boy whos an eagles fan, Chip will be gone after this season. He thought I was crazy especially since they were in for a 12-4, 11-5 season.

Well guess what... this dude is done. As a redskins fan I hope he stays cause he straight up fukked up that team.

The problem is he thought his bullshyt fukkery in college would transition over to NFL, not so much his play style but the fact ANYONE can play in it, and all i need is "chips" guys... well nah it dont work like that, he looks like an idiot and actually started to believe the bullshyt that hes a genius.

Don't forge the issue of not being able to bring bags into the stadium.

Went to an Eagles game when I was like 19. When you are that age none of this shyt bothers you at all everything is fresh new and exciting. Managed to sneak a flask in this was back in '05 though so security wasn't too tight. We hooked up with a classmates Uncle who gave us some liquor. Kept us warm throughout the whole game. Of course at that age your bladder can hold better, less hangover, etc.

Something to do when you are young and invincible

Let's not act like we're not seeing this gem from Cuzo
And by the way, it was only 1 tackle.

Buccaneers vs. Eagles - Box Score - November 22, 2015 - ESPN

:sas2:

lol

i do think hes hurt, but thats also part of the reason you dont trade for him. he had a dislocated hip in college (!!!) and 2 knees since then too. too much

Jordan Hicks was their best LB this year, which is both a positive (good young player, good value pick) but is also puzzling when you have 4 vets making 5M or more

If Chip stays he is just going to continue running this team in the ground...

If he leaves or his fired you have to blow the whole team up and that will take years just to get a new roster that someone else can coach...

You know you are fukked when your fanbase is clamoring for RG Knee and Colin Kaeperpicksix...two guys who got their jobs taken by scrubs AND in all likelihood end up holding a clip board next year...
