As if it's all stars laying all over the place, how about adding to the all star talent you do have and not shipping 1 off because he wants to actually win and you need effort and tough coaching to achieve that smh.

I still say go for it now. Butler and Rose are around the same age. If we bottom out we need to be aggressive; and sign Whiteside and trade for that lost wing we been needing for 3 years.

Huge difference from stepping back for 1 season to set up the best case scenario for this off season and going forward vs a "rebuild" where you could suck for the next 3-4 seasons. I don't think anybody was clamoring for the latter. Trading jimmy sets you up for the latter.

I personally have repeated keeping rose and jimmy setting up that dynamic duo, possibly pau for a reasonable deal if not let pau walk (wish we could have traded him for something good) then hard re tool with role players around that trio

Now who around here was clamoring to blow it up?
