Huge difference from stepping back for 1 season to set up the best case scenario for this off season and going forward vs a "rebuild" where you could suck for the next 3-4 seasons. I don't think anybody was clamoring for the latter. Trading jimmy sets you up for the latter.

I personally have repeated keeping rose and jimmy setting up that dynamic duo, possibly pau for a reasonable deal if not let pau walk (wish we could have traded him for something good) then hard re tool with role players around that trio

Now who around here was clamoring to blow it up?

I've seen people here saying to blow it up, wasnt you, but there seems to be a faction

I think trading Butler is something that a competent GM should explore. Though I can't think of a deal that would make a lot of sense. We're not in such dire straights that we should take 50 cents on the dollar for him, and that's usually how these deals play out.

I think moving Rose would make more sense from a basketball standpoint as he's starting to show that he more than has what it takes to be a top 7-10 PG again, maybe even better. His contract would be the issue there, though.

I was like and was about to pick up some food when some cac and a brother walked up to me like "This is a private party, where's your ticket?
