I used to be hopeful with lottery picks, then this bs with mcdermott happened and I lost faith in it.

School me on who even in the draft outside Simmons worth a damn

We won't be getting him but Ingram will be a star. In my opinion he will be better than Simmons. Dunn will be a pretty solid point guard for quite a few years. Hield is a sensational shooter that is almost Reggie Miller-like in college. Other than that all I see is role players.

I think the pick is top 10 protected. So if they make the playoffs or come close to making it, we get their pick.

Yeah, that's it. They've been up and down so that could go either way. I don't see them making the playoffs but finishing 9th or 10th in the west is a possibility.

Unless Hield has horrible workouts, we have no chance at any of those guys

Hield's draft stock is rising but he's a senior which a lot of teams don't like so if we get somewhere around 10-12 that could be possible especially if he hits a cold streak or has a lackluster tournament performance. He would be an immediate plug in and play guy at the 2/3 and he has length but he's not known for defending so

Ideally we want a decent scorer around the 6'6-6'8 range and a big with great hands with our two picks in my opinion and I don't know if we'll pull it off

If we had Gary Harris and Rodney hood right now we would be legit contenders to get to the finals. And they both would be picking up the slack while jimmy is out.
