I always felt like the Bulls organization either out thought themselves or they purposely passed on players they feel would blow up and they'd eventually have to pay them. This goes back a cpl decades.

Chicago probably has the best fans in all of sports, but most of the front offices are on the frugal side.

Cubs are spending tho, and I feel they'll win a world series because of it.

:myman: they had a stacked farm too, spending and a stable of young talent is why the cubs about to have a dynasty :banderas:

You make a good point! Its not bad to be thrifty as an NBA owner for certain seasons, but these cats do this crap every year with premeditated excuses lined up every year as to why they don't want to take risk.

Fans not going to go quiet with the Cubs not being active. Same with the bears, will be anarchy if after the Cubs get swept they go into the winter not doing anything saying some dumb shyt like "we like our core" and "we are comfortable with this roster"

Sox, bulls somewhat even the Blackhawks city is meh.

And Jerry just goes to the bank

Ya dudes that went at Thibs, need to apologize! They never gave him or Rose nothing to work with in that limited window we had to get to the finals. For Thibs system to work you need guys that can move their feet on offensive and defensive possessions. They never gave Rose a number two when he was at his highest peak of dominance. For the past three years these dudes have drafted duds like Marquis Teague, Tony Snell, and Doug McDermott. Mirotic has shown us a pulse from time to time.but I'm very disappointed how he has allowed himself to go into a second year wall. Gasol at the age of 35 is our only big who has a skill set to score inside, but is starting to fade away from that. Butler still leads the league in NBA minutes even though those fools tried to pin that on Thibs. Heads need to roll like now!

NBA Trade Rumors: Dwight Howard To Chicago Bulls At The Deadline As D12 To Bring Back Windy City Glory Days Suggested

How y'all feel about these Dwight rumors breh? I loved dude in Orlando but since he left his attitude, toughness & mental fortitude are huge question marks to me. However, I feel if he was a less of a crybaby he'd be a great defensive anchor & 2nd-3rd option on offense. Don't know if it would be an overall net gain though depending on the logistics of the trade. Plus there's always garpax lack of ever doing shyt but I can see them doing a deal like this just to save face. What do y'all think? :jbhmm:

well 1st off i think the rumor is bs

but if we are using dwight as a stop gap, in which we run him with rose and jimmy for a run this season, then let him go this off season with us having more cap space to go after horford or whiteside, maybe even make a play for 2 guys, then its a little intriguing.

but for the most part, its likely not possible for a couple of reasons, houston of course wants to make a run at durant and wouldnt want a deal where they add salary, and 2. howard has a player option for 26 million, and he more than likely will exercise it, and the bulls are not going to allow themselves to be on that hook for that kind of money

if the deal expands and we can add maybe a ariza and corey brewer or ty lawson with howard and maybe we just part with noah pau and maybe dunleavy, its intriguing, if you believe we can just roll with that roster for the next couple of years, but i doubt garpax want to take that route.

If us and Toronto could keep our respective seeds until playoff time, I would not be surprised at all if we pull the "upset". We all know Chicago does not fukk around whenever they play the Raptors. 10-0 against them over the last three seasons, we are their kryptonite.

I mean someone gotta eliminate the Raptors in the first round :heh:
