So, one squadron f**** lost 200 people …right away, another one lost 10 people… and I don’t know about the third squadron but it got torn up pretty badly, too... So three squadrons took a beating… The Yankees attacked… first they blasted the f*** out of us by artillery and then they took four helicopters up and pushed us in a f*** merry-go-round with heavy caliber machine guns….They were all shelling the holy f*** out of it and our guys didn’t have anything besides the assault rifles

^How would anyone with a brain call this a direct confrontation between US & Russia when the US got clearance from Russia before attacking them? If the US were that brave, it wouldn't have contacted Russia for clearance. And Russia has more than enough assets in Syria to neutralise any US attack on its regular forces.
So, no matter how you spin it - this wasn't a US vs Russia confrontation. It was Syria supported by private military vs US. But still an utter failure in context of the assets US deployed relative to the kills.

The audio is as real as the WMD in Iraq. Let's act like we haven't seen a lot of these fugazi audio recordings in Ukraine & like almost half of CIA isn't bilingual & they don't speak both English & Russian fluently.
I see you glossed over US getting clearance from the Russian command before attacking.
You also glossed over the fact that the US deployed all its best assets against forces that weren't equipped for it since they were gathering to attack ISIS but ended up inflicting minimal damage.
Anyway, you can pout & beat ya chest from now till eternity but it doesn't negate the fact that you can't win a war from the air & against formidable military with sophisticated/complex AD & SAMs - you'd still have to throw bodies in trenches & fight for every inch.

You attacked a bunch of Wagner & Syrian soldiers who’re on foot with all your might after getting clearance from Russia that there are no Russian troops there. And rather than see it as a routine exercise - a lot of you have been gloating about it with exaggeration for years now like it was actually a US vs Russia confrontation. We all know it wasn’t & the US got clearance from Russia before it attacked them to protect Islamists.
Don’t let me post a video of US Elite Navy Seals getting wrecked by a handful of Taliban tribal fighters. Even the chinook sent to rescue them that was occupied by Navy Seals & Rangers was shot down by the Taliban with RPG.

Even Russian military higher ups admit they are suffering heavily and it's based on logistical and organizational issues inherent in the Russian military. Until Russia fixes those things, they will not be able to compete on the peer level with the United States. This is a cultural and organizational problem in Russia. They were supposed to take Bakhmut a week or two ago and even the west was convinced they will take it. Instead they actually loss some territory to the Ukrainians recently. They may still take it but it's a phyrric victory. The Ukrainians realized back in 2014 that the old Soviet top heavy organizational structure of their military was shytty and got trained in US style military structures and this is why Russia is having a hard time right now. But what isn't talked about enough about this whole event, it's not even about the soldiers on the ground. This is an ideological war being waged right now. Putin views the loss of the territories after the fall of the USSR as shameful. I rather Ukrainians fight these dudes because at some point once Ukraine is taken care of, other former Soviet territories are in play for them, including current NATO members which means then we will be pulled into it. If Russia is successful, in a few years your neighbors and friends will be sent to fight them instead. If you think I'm exaggerating, then look up what is happening in Moldova which is to the west of Ukraine. They are currently battling Russian attempts of overthrowing their government. Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Finland, Romania, and others are also dealing with constant influence campaigns from Russian to undermined them. Even Germany is dealing with their government and intelligence services being filled with a ton of Russia spies. They just sentenced a dude from Britain to 13 years because he was spying for the Russians at a German embassy. This tells you the end goal isn't just Ukraine. I'm not looking forward to go fight some Russians in a trench any time soon

Vietnam wasn’t even a near-peer & the US lost almost 10,000 aircrafts there. The US still uses the B52 bomber & it lost about 16 (US sources) or 54 (Vietnam sources) B52 bombers in Vietnam to SAM. So, how is the same bomber going to survive against modern SAMs?
