Bud pulled Giannis way to early in the first. They were up like 8 barely 6 minutes into the quarter. That was a horrible coaching move. Nets caught up and never looked back.

Giannis gotta play 40+ minutes

Bud's been shown he has terrible feel for the game which is one of the reasons he struggles with in-game adjustments

Even though it ain't a good look the Bucks couldn't grab control of this game after Harden went down, but you see this shyt all the time when a team loses one of their star players and it forces the rest of the team to go into survival mode. Make no mistake about it though, one shouldn't just assume that is going to be in play for the rest of the series. The Bucks will be reeling after this and they'll come back with a haymaker of their own in Game 2.

We probably won't get a proper read of this series until about Game 3/4.

I'm ok with that

Low key KD, Kyrie, and Blake are all gonna be sore as hell come tomorrow morning and it will carry in to Monday

That means the Nets role players (Joey, BB, Clax, etc.) are going to have to step up in a big way and hit all those open shots that they missed tonight because Kyrie ain't gonna be able to go out there and run himself ragged for 40+ minutes again

then the nets have been in “survival” mode for almost half the season…the big 3 have played a total of 8 games all season up until the offs…this is regular mode

Key to the series is whether or not Bud cracks and starts to go away from Lopez. When he’s out there they drop him in the paint which gives a lot of Blake 3s and KD middys

but if they go away from him that’s a huge chunk of their offensive rebounding gone.

This series won't go past 5 games. At the end of the day, giannis and Middleton can't match kd and Kyrie and they aren't capable of shutting them down. Both are elite scorers that go on runs on a nightly basis. You can't rely on their production. We saw what Middleton did tonight. Kd and kyrie both seem determined as hell and Joe Harris can outscore any other 3rd option on the bucks with ease.
