I remember a long time ago this weirdo who has trying to unsuccessfully get in my pants at the time was like, "I hope you know ***** wants to fukk you, right? All guys are like this. They are only friends with girls they want to fukk."

I gave him the :rudy: and told him to :camby:.

But years, I couldn't help but wonder if maybe he was right. :patrice:

1) I've noticed that some guys will straight up act like complete a$$holes to their female friends as soon as they are getting some ass on a consistent basis on some bird get a girlfriend.

2) And actually, I've noticed that most of my "male friends" disappear once they get into serious relationships. Hm. :dame:

3) The married ones aren't safe either. I had known this dude for long while and we'd been friends through some long term relationships and we continued to be friends after he got married and had kids (he's a bit older than me). We'd text a lot, mainly about sports and I'd sell him old laptops and iPads of mine that I didn't need. Seemed pretty harmless to me.

Anyway, he ended up coming to my city and he didn't have a place to stay and so I hooked him up. Nothing happened. He took the bed and I took the couch since I was working late that night.

Anyway after he left, he sent me a text like, "Don't post anything on FB about me being there; my wife doesn't know I came to visit." And I was like, :wtf:.

It was at that moment that I just knew that there was no such thing as a platonic relationship between men and women.:francis:

Well, to be fair, she is low key the jealous type. She'd friend all his female friends. I remember she friended me the minute I commented on his wall and I was like :what:. I was insulting the dude on his wall like I always do. :russ:

She really is that dense on the reality of things. I wanna see my lady reaction if I asked her that I am gonna crash at my homegirl crib but I didn't fukk. Yeah, she would be so happy man. :comeon:

Elaine, would you want your man to stay over another woman's place even if they are just friends?

In my experience, the best male/female friendships are when the guy is slightly better looking than the girl.

If the woman is at the same level or better looking than the guy, then he wants to smash.

If the guy is significantly better looking than the girl, then she wants to smash.

It's best for the guy to consider the girl borderline f**kable, but not worth the hassle to pursue sexually. The girl will think the guy is somewhat attractive but doesn't have to have him.

Dude was a clown and that's pillow talk. Real men don't pillow talk and he was cockblocking.

Men end up in the hospital or casket doing pillow talk

Want to Smash or not smash, your friendship should go further than that.

Do you mean that men can't be friends with women because they don't want to make their gf or wife jealous ?

Is that your point op?

The question is why would a wife/gf be jealous of a genuinely platonic relationship and why would a man indulge her irrational suspicious unless of course, he truly did have feelings for his female friends? I can understand getting rid/hiding your side pieces and but treating girls who are just friends like that? :jbhmm: Nah.:beli:

The men are trying to avoid problems with their wives/girlfriends.

Also in the last part of your story, I doubt that you'd be happy to hear that your husband spent the night at some unknown girls house in another city, even if he claimed that he, "just slept on the couch and nothing happened."
