Both Artest & Cassell were great players tho. At best Horry was the 3rd/4th best player on his teams (and that's considering the Shaq/Kobe teams didn't have much outside of those 2)

Rockets fans will forever be indebted to Horry for helping us win two championships. Probably one of the best playoff players to ever play the game.

One thing the game is missing these days are the great role players. Guys like Horry, Artest, Sam Cassell. Not stars but everyone knew them and they had their own swagger about them, unique personalities helped. Maybe 1 all star appearance, never one of the best players in the league, but always played a role in outcomes and more often than not, showed up big in big moments.
Nowadays seems role players are out here tryna be superstars

People never bring up how he basically won a finals for Kobe/Shaq and Duncan. The lakers were down 2-1 and if they lose that game 4 they're down 3-1 and most likely lose the series. The spurs/detroit series was 2-2 in that game 5 and if the Spurs lose that, they go down 3-2 and play game 6 in Detroit (in which they lost).

Are there any examples of players like Big shot bob in other sports? Such mediocre stats, and 0 individual accolades.
Dude averaged 7 pts a game in the playoffs , but half them points seemed to be in the last 10 seconds of the game with his team trailing. Its like dude was saving all his life force to shoot 90 pct from the 3 point line at the end of games.
