Being expected to initiate all the time is exhausting and it gets old fast.
That's probably 40% the reasons my last relationship didn't work out
It got tiring having to come up with something new to do. A new restaurant or art gallery or museum or mall or whatever. It got exhausting. I was the driver, the tour guide, and the hotel lol.
I would feel like I wasn't a good boyfriend when I didn't feel like texting much for a couple days cuz then she'd feel like I was ignoring her or making her an afterthought. I knew I couldn't keep up. It felt like a duty after a while even though she was fun and had a great personality.
She knew everything about personality types, psychology, love languages, astrology signs but couldn't understand why an introvert prefered alone time most of the time
I would give ideas and she'd criticize some but wouldn't give alternatives. So if I didn't follow up, she'd blow up on me that I was a flake and didn't care about the relationship.
Honestly I miss her but older women seem to be a better fit. They're more appreciative maybe cuz they have a kid now so they have a more mature perspective on what really matters
