stop believing in some Ivy halo b, yeah some mediocre Ivy kids will land in decent spots cuz of their degree but it's competitive as fukk at the top and a lot of better state school kids make it over Ivy brehs for jobs, promotions/moving to better companies, etc

a lot of people don't capitalize fully but they probably do better than they would've elsewhere

especially if you're some disadvantaged minority kid you'll probably land somewhere and have a career vs. maybe you would've fukked up at city college due to life circumstances

There's actually a few of us on here.

I graduated from Wharton in 08.

Around 2005, there were about 4-5 regular Penn students/alumni who posted regularly. And 2 lurkers or so.

Pooh was at Columbia, OCMFII went to Cornell I believe, thats all off the top of my head. Oh, that one Miami chick was at Dartmouth.

What was crazy about that, among Black folk in the Ivies, there's only like 2 degrees of separation. Probably less.

Funny story, @<<TheStandard>> and I were dating a set of sisters at the same time. That's how we bumped into each other initially.

One of the freakiest and explicit chicks on attended Dartmouth. A UPenn grad got eggs and pancakes smeared on his car after getting with a Brooklyn poster. One of my favorite and sharpest female posters graduated from Stanford. One of the mods here went to business school in an unofficial Ivy with a full ride but loses points for being a Kobe Stan.

it all depends on the department. dartmouths econ dept is amazing. i guess the one thing we can all agree on is cornell is terrible.

I'm just gonna guess that many people in this thread are trolling... otherwise there's a lot of Coli members who got rejected from schools like Cornell, Duke, and Stanford who are mad as hell . So much hate in here and cats playing fast and loose with the facts.
