yeah the new tribe album is pretty mediocre, but I don't know...probably still better than this cole album
Nope not on there I went in thinking the same thing. But nope he didn't put it on therewait wait wait, its not? I just assumed it was one of the last two tracks I hadn't listen to yet.
I was literally waiting on that joint.
right. Theres no singles off this especially considering the streaming world we live in where artists don't need to chase radio...but I don't know if thats a good thing...

He made a whole damn album about one particular topic which is fatherhood from the perspective of a man caught up on the street lifestyle... Like the whole album is about that????
im not a cole hater. i like his prior projects
he's trying to expand his subject matter but rests on his laurels in his rap style
he pokes around at deeper subjects but never fully commits....maybe thats his way of ensuring a good song...some rappers cant do both and make it listenable.
he's not the only rapper guilty of this...shyt kendrick does it...just a lot less.
just a little disappointed in hearing false prophets and then this...but this is his take at a concept album...so

Rests on his laurels? nikka went from tryin to sound like Kanye, to tryna sound like Outkast, to finally findin his own pocket. Like BS, FHD, and this one r all different thematically and sonically. Wut laurels iz he restin, on? This is his first album where theres not a single braggadocious bar and first time he relies this heavily on melodies. I dont kno bruh u jus got me kinda confused.
Views was a good album though.
Honestly, I like the IDEA of "folded clothes"...and I wish more rap was like that considering how other genres do the same thing
But the way HE does it is so wack.

Hopefully he drops a Truly Yours 4 with False Prophets, Everybody Dies, and a couple more comparable tracks, because It would be a crime not to get them on a proper release 
dudes stay trying to be producer/artists.
Only one I've seen come close in the modern era is BIG KRIT, and even then KRIT can't find mainstream success.
Cole gets a pass cause he has the machine pushing his mediocrity.
And thing is, we've been chanting this for YEARS and we got called haters for it.
...and here we are again 3-4 projects deep and the same criticisms exist.
