Change is like the only song from this that I really can fukk with and even that benefits from the being surrounded by sleepy time tea shyt.

I'll give it some more spins but this is worst than his last project as far as I can tell and I didn't think that was as great as it was hyped up to be.

Great post but Folding Clothes is really bad. The hook is just downright awful

I do. think Cole has boxed himself in as an artist

The no features feel like a gimmick now and you're spot on about where's the fun. What made Cole special is that you felt like he could fit right in on a Saturday pregaming in college before you went out. How the convos switch from talking about bytches to real shyt to jokes

What made FHD special is songs like No Role models, GOMD, and fire squad mixed in with real stuff

I just think Folding Clothes will catch on big time. I hated Crooked Smile but that did well, I'm already seeing people on my TL pointing out FC already. This will be the radio heavy song that gets pushed eventually off of this album.

And yeah, the no features shyt is beyond retarded. But his fans gassed him up about it, so he's going to continue to give the people what they want. The compliment of him going Plat without any features is stupid, because anyone of his peers at his magnitude could also go platinum without features

This album is impactful for people that can relate.

I can see why some people are disappointed.

But this album is exactly where I am in my life. This is that grown man rap I've been waiting for. Have not felt an album this much since Life Is Good.

Never heard a full project from dude to even speak on, probably never will. I have no desire to...but I bang Minnesota, One night, broccoli etc.

And yeah, I do listen to projects front to back multiple times before I dismiss them. You don't see me in every thread speaking on every nikka project, I don't go through music like that. I'm spinning Cole right now, once that settles I'll move to Soul or whoever. I stick with projects a while before moving to the next joint. Im a young nikka but I still got old school tendencies when it comes to that. I hated a lot of my favorite albums on first listen..
