a person wouldnt fukk with lloyd banks because of a preconceived notion that he's a washed up irrelevant rapper

a person wouldnt fukk with j cole because they listened to his music and simply didnt like it, but at least they gave him a chance

the majority of people that ive seen listen to banks' last 2 projects who weren't regular fans of his but decided to give it a chance walked away impressed

The concept is forced too. It literally doesn't make sense for the whole album to be from his friend's perspective. People stay exaggerating.

Again it's a parallel to what's going on in his life. Or have you forgotten he's a new husband and father? What's wrong with having a reflection of other father's and what they been or going through? #loveyourz

First of all men tell each other everything especially if they are boys, every win is documented. Half the losses might be, but I got at least two homeboys I could pen a biography about damn near.

Secondly, Deja Vu seems like a clear radio friendly single. So I wouldn't be surprised if that one isn't even part of the story that album is trying to tell, he probably tossed it in there so he can have a commercial record on there

Men don't tell eachother everything actually. Especially when it comes to their emotions. They don't want to look "soft" in front of their friends.

I'm pretty sure he made some of the stuff, filling in the blanks for the things he didn't know and added some of his own story in there. Comparing their lives/situations.

I doubt Deja Vu will be a single.. Especially because Bryson Tiller already used that to get a hit and Cole's version of it isn't really good. I didn't like it at all. There are much better songs on the mixtape. If there is a single, it will probably pick itself from the spotify plays.
