J Cole 1 of the few artists of the new generation that I personally feel is on the path to being potentially great and a legend himself 1 day. He's doing some notable things, fukking with it.

I thought J. Cole was going for the crown with the songs he debuted....

...After listening to this, I can't help but feel disappointed.

Not like it's wack...It's just super aiiiight.... Too much singing, mood setting, trying to be musical shyt.....So much more he could've touched on content wise...

nikka voice is terrible. Really need some features, at least for the bridges.

Gave it a spin on the way to work this morning. First impression, typical Cole. Not mind blowing but very good. Dope production, good raps but nothing that really sticks to my ribs. Coulda been a mixtape or EP.

That's just one listen though. Compared to what else is out, new Cole is always a breath of fresh air.

Its a solid album I only have two tracks left to listen to.

It feels like he tried to recreate the last album again a bit. But maybe he's just speaking more of whats on his mind.


I'd prefer him have went in a totally different direction though.
