I didn't like him at first cause of the gay shyt until I read his reddit AMA and learned he was trolling. Also, one day I randomly heard a thugger song where his enunciation was a little clearer and I noticed the way he rode the beat was as if he wasn't rapping but a whole nother instrument. That's when I understood the hype. His melodies are like Bone Thugs on Helium.

I’d say even picking him to be his opening act was strategic in the sense of not wanting to completely alienate himself from the “mumble rap” crowd that he’s been perceived as dissing.

Cole has a lot control over career. I’m sure if he didn’t want him on there he wouldn’t be on there. Same thing when the label tried to force him to take yg off his last tour and refused to do it.

Thug fits this tour, just like yg fits his last tour. Makes perfect sense imo

Thug doesnt have to be super lyrical but the gay gimmicks, lil wayne trolling, and the spongebob voice is enough to make me write him off.

I think If someone where to take Thug’s style and take it as far as they possibly could, we’d get some of the most experimental and weird stuff black music has seen for a while. Thug is an innovator. He’s this generation’s George Clinton minus the psychedelic aesthetic and the funky clothes. Jeffrey is GOAT project
