Twitter outrage and hive mind makes it almost impossible to have any kind of meaningful discourse :snoop:
You can but you also should acknowledge it's not a full representation of life.

I can go to a bar, engage in endless discussion with patrons there about how LeBron is better than MJ and get many of the people in the bar to agree with me.

When I leave the bar and go outside, that doesn't mean that everyone outside the bar now believes LeBron > MJ.

That's social media to me when it comes to situations like this. You can go there and debate ad nauseam about J. Cole's song, but when you log off, the outside world is still going on and there's countless other people who don't care or simply weren't in the "bar" to engage in the conversation themselves.

I like Cole, but breh definitely should've read the room and hit pause on the subs here.

Like, this is something that could've been handled with a DM asking for clarification and getting dialogue done between the two since Cole probably wasn't even who she was slighting.

Who else could it have been? She mentioned top selling rappers, plural. That would have to be Kendrick and Cole.
