Good bye Coli(2014-2020)
Also some of these famous people are so damn scared of being "cancelled" that they become bytch made. I just noticed that rappers like Young Thug have said way worse to Black women and everyone including Black women STILL support them. Yall remember this?

J Cole never said anything on this level. :heh: I have lost a lot of respect for Cole. He should've been like Kendrick during the stupid ass Humble situation.

Andre 3000 went 4 years between his last post on IG.

smart man. I’d hate to see them try to take down the God.

He gave a rare interview last week and kinda said some of the same stuff Cole did.

Common sense would dictate that IF you SEE a black person out in the community attempting to make a truly positive impact, then disingenuously calling them out because they don’t tweet about their good deeds is flagrant as all hell.

J.Cole purchased his old home and turned into a shelter for young single mothers to live rent free and get back on their feet. He marched in Ferguson, he marched just last week, he put out a Black Lives Matter themed documentary and TWO BLM themed albums.

The man has done enough to not have to be taken to task for not tweeting. Obviously he cares. Obviously he’s not simply sitting on his ass only making music about the “black plight” to cash in.

So if he wants to politely disagree with Noname on the way he felt she undermined HIS efforts then its not the end of the world. Its not misogynistic. Its not “Black men do nothing but bring black women down”. Its simply HIS perspective.

This whole “If you ain’t Tweeting then you ain’t down for the cause” shyt is embarrassing. And its a DISGRACE to true activism

Facts breh.

You cant cancel dudes like Thug, Soulja, Future etc because their fanbase is based on them doing fukkery. They dont have soccermom money funding them and their fans dont care.

People beat on accountable people because they show up. And because they show up you can make an example out of them like you're doing something

like in the divorce courts.. they throw the book at men who do want to be there and pay to justify the system. but dont do shyt to the men who fled to alaska or the phillippines who skip out on court.

ive had women get on to me for what "Real nikkas" did to them because I happen to be in the vicinity. It makes no sense.

It's like getting onto Maynard Jackson for what Freeway Ricky Ross did to the community. Or it's like beating on protestors because you're to slow to run after a rioter; they just happened to show up and someone has to get punished

these chicks would never go at Future or Gucci, cause they love shaking their ass to that music and they're scared of nikkas like them

I think it was mentioned in that other thread, but it was such a great point that I didn't consider before, that conscious rappers have it harder than regular rappers because they've set the bar so high, they can't really devolve into the use of "bytches and hoes." Now they are burdened to have to walk the tight rope of expression without all the "archies" and "isms". Too much of a rock and a hard place.

They tried to “cancel” J. Cole until he dropped 2 new songs. All the Shea butter folks now back talking about “we stan J Cole in this house, he don’t miss!”

No one tried to cancel J Cole, stop lying. He received criticism online, and understandably so to a degree.

Really tired of people claiming any form of criticism or attacks on a celeb means they are being cancelled, and thus cancel culture is out of control etc. This is white boy alt right shyt,
