I get that they've built a business around music, I GET IT. I just refuse to view it through that lense.
I love when I can tell that the artist fell in love with music long before they tried to create their own.

I haven't heard the song and probably will never hear it. I'm a not really a J Cole fan, but I think he's a dope rapper and makes decent music. To you J Cole fans, stop listening to and responding to these guys that have been listening to nothing but trap music their entire lives. WTF do they know about anything?

Yeah hes doing the Nas Rewind thing but its dope hes telling his life story
I still dont believe this is the last J Cole album. He might do the Kill Edward persona or some shyt but I just dont see a guy still releativley young, who has a pretty loyal fanbase stopping totally. Say what you will about his music being safe/boring but with a fanbase with it it might actually work for him if he still drops music in his 40s and 50s

2025 was one of the dopest years in hip hop in recent memory. The game doesn't need another forgettable Cole album to save it.
