Alabama Mississippi and Louisana have some of the highest black populations in the country and they have no power there due to gerrymandering. At some point congress has to step in and fix the voting issues that actively oppress and de power the black vote(gerrymandering, voter ID laws, shutting down voting places, shutting down dmv’s in high pop black areas etc) going on the south.

Encouraging more black people to move into that racist ass states isn’t the answer. All that will do is put more black people in harms way which isn’t the answer.

The South IS NOT a place where black people should be moving to.Not just because of all the issues with voting rights and gerrymandering, but because of climate change. The south is fukked.

In the not too far off future it will be plagued with heatwaves, severe weather events and flooding that will make today's climate catastrophes seem miniscule. And due to decades of Republican policy the infrastructure will completely collapse. Katrina is a preview of what we can expect on a yearly basis. Massive amounts of poor black people stranded with no where to go.

Tariq is a con artist and grifter for the most part I agree with you. However, the xenophobia aimed toward FBA is real.

And I ask people where is there homeland because because if they have no cultural connection to the south they will have a different outlook so it's an revenant question.
