I understand she is british and somewhat putting on a "black American" accent but in doing so she sounds like she has a clogged up throat. I never really listened to her music before this thread and went and listen to some but I realized I had her song "she don't" in my Spotify library which I liked. But like you said, this song sounds mad generic and her voice is kind of weird and I actually liked the remix I heard better.

Why do ya'll think this is her doing? Ya'll know she's signed to a label right? Interscope has been on that shyt this year. Juice WRLD is signed there and a few months back they damn near shut twitch down because streamers were playing his song on their stream.

Also I think it's kind of lame for known artists "remixing" shyt that's currently hot. nikkas saying his version is better but his version wouldn't exist without hers. Like the nikka just resang what she had already sang. That's just karaoke.

Edit It might be a straight bytch move, but as often with these things it was probably the label that forced it.

And really one can't discuss these type of things on the coli, everyone talks with their feelings. I remember when Mac Miller got sued for using a sample on a mixtape song before he was on and everyone co-signed the lawsuit and shyt. Now an established major label artist not just samples, but steals a persons song without the song owners blessings and everyone shyts on it.

Jacquees shyt is waaaayyy better. I was in Miami over the weekend and they played a version with both of them, she should've capitalized and made it the official remix.

This and that Trip remix just tells us Jacquees needs to get some better writers and some other people to produce his music.
