I happened to catch “in the club” on the radio a couple times which is the only reason I knew him and therefore decided to check his album when it dropped. If you dont listen to programmed music, “bed” and “in the club” were easy to miss and therefore so is his name, especially for the 30+ club. He’s not ty dolla singing hooks on every track or jeremih who surfaces an actual hit song every (other) year. Dude has a lilttle grassroots following, mainly 25 and under, but is otherwise a new artist on the national/mainstream front.
