There's lot of frauds in rap. Rick Ross is probably the biggest offender,Flo rida and Pitbull were more street than Ross but you'd never know it from their music. Plies likes to pretend he dropped in 5th grade but he's educated. You can find a few interviews of plies using his real voice, it's like a whole different person.

BIG was a small time crack dealer but portrayed himself as a crime boss who ran New York. Nobody cared because he was great at it.
Dr. Dre maybe the biggest studio gangster ever yet was better at making gangster rap than anyone else. I remember hearing back in the mid 90s that MC Hammer was more street than Dre but same deal, nobody cared.

Not true at all. Jada got a ton of podcast appearances and interviews where he acting like the laid back weed head hip hop fan that he is.

Actually, I stand corrected. When I typed that, i was more thinking of a lot of his older interviews (2000s to 2010s), and in particular the "fridge" incident. Jada isn't as ridiculous with it of course (Prodigy on the other hand...)
