What trend is he following on this album? :francis:
It’s the same generic criticisms that have followed him his whole career :dead:

This is classic Kiss spitting over soulful samples with R&B hooks supposed to be a tribute album to his deceased homie

What trend is he following and where the hell is he hit chasing :dead:

For real, people aren't even listening. He's got live instrumentation, he's singing, this is all new for Kiss yet apparently it's the same old shyt.

Haven’t heard much. Jada will forever make corny songs on corny beats, but I love that he’s expanding his musicality

Album's cool for what it is. But I kinda have come to grips that Kiss best days of (potentially) putting out classic solo material are long gone.

Yeah, I agree. He had *it* from November 1998 to August 2001. I thought he was gonna drop an LP that would have been the next "Ready 2 Die" in bars and impact. Instead, we got some classic tracks and a condensed rehash of "Life after Death" with "Kiss the Game Goodbye" :francis:

His latest solo album is still proof that he is chasing hits over a legit classic. That's Jada's Acheilles heel: album making.

I ran thru the album today and it was alright..I just don't see myself going back to it except for the Pusha track.

The Kiss Of Death is the only album Jada made that came close to being great and even that had some fillers/weak cuts on it.

Styles P just better at making albums...that's why I got him over Jada as the best Lox member.

I’m puzzled as well. Anybody that’s actually paid attention to his recent press run would know this is an album dedicated to one of his long time homies, and his homie’s death is a reason it took him a minute to even drop another project. It’s a mostly somber mature album.
