This is the problem. When you don't have to concern yourself with the harsh realities then you can focus on the esoteric. On the one hand they do sound like pretentious CACs, but on the other hand this is some high level thinking as compared to their peers (age range and income bracket) so I must give them props for that at least that. I wonder if they have any racial identity though.

They don't sound pretentious. They answers the questions honestly.

Oh wow, some of y'all found a way to spin this into some ant-White supremacy ish:heh:. Amusing considering their whole worldview is most likely influenced by Scientology "cacs"

I didn't learn the majority of what they are discussing until I was halfway through my twenties.
It took me visiting hundreds of cities and seeing miraculous things like true darkness (cities do not experience actual darkness because of light polution http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_pollution)
and understanding how light/color/perseption work before I could grasp what these kids have been blessed to understand at such an early age. Concepts like what is real and what is not. Perception distortion (where she is talking about time and memory) She is also discussing manual sensory control and tantric techniques. Stuff I just put myself up on in the last 5 years, and I'm 30.

Jaden is on his way to being a philosopher which is amazing to see in the modern era.
Most on that path are dissuade by surrounding parties, but to have a parental support structure that embraces him... He might actually get there.

There are no modern philosophers. So that would be a fascinating development.

Those children are being provided a chance at life like I've never seen. There are other rich kids, but they just end up being kids with money. Will & Jada's kids seem... free.

There are pieces of wisdom here, but I'm not sure if it's genuine or just regurgitation. Someone can recite Osho or Nietzsche and still remain unable to critically discern what parts they wholly embrace and what parts do not apply to them. They're kids, so it's good they're being exposed to this stuff, but I don't get the sense they've reached a point in their development where they've really grappled with this stuff beyond the abstract. But given their wealth and lifestyle, maybe they won't have to. Until then though, it all sounds rather pretentious to me. But that's how teenagers are supposed to sound. Jaden's comment about literature in particular highlights his immaturity. For any author to say that there's nothing out there worth reading is the most arrogant and ridiculous thing I've ever read. You can't learn how to write if you don't read.

Guess it hurts their souls that these kids are thinking beyond what they could comprehend at that age. Sorta like the cacs and c00ns in this thread pretending that they have a grasp on reality as good as these kids have in their short time alive. Who the fukks shyts on a 14 year old that's heavy into quantum physics.

That's the thing with the world in general. And it goes way back into earlier times. You see someone with a brilliant mind, and people ridicule you because that current way of thinking isn't the standard. However, by the same token, if they can find use for you, they'll big you up until you're Snoop Dogging buildings.. all for their benefit and not necessarily yours. Intelligence intimidates people, because that means you're much harder to manipulate. Because if you're stupid, who are you a threat to? Which is why great minds in history constantly went through bullshyt, even though our current way of living is thanks to their inventions and ideas.

I partake in Kundalini Meditation so I understood a lot of what they said. They need to understand tho that not everyone is born into fortune & fame & can AFFORD not to live as part of Society.

If I could eat fish & chicken & meditate to music & peace under a tree while raising the serpent for the rest of my life I would but a nikka got bills... :heh:

You can do exactly that.
But, only if that is your actual desire.

If you say you want to do that, but then you also want cable tv, a car, and a cellphone... thats whats holding you up.
There are no bills except the ones you make for yourself.

cynicism huh... :ohhh:
The cynics were originally philosophers who questioned established principals (like working, paying taxes, going to war) etc... but government outcast them.
Nowadays if you say something like you've got a hot date and somebody responds sarcastically such as "good luck with that" you might accuse them of being 'cynical' which now has a negative connotation.
But all the word really means is that you question or disagree with an established accepted thing.

The coli is a trip. How yall can make anything about race on here. I've seen one dude he agrees with their stance on past literature because its all CAC nonsense. Yes all literature is by Cacs for Cacs. Low key most absurd thing I've read on this website. First of all I don't have to praise these cats because their different from the hood culture, lots of what they're saying is non sense and actually disrespectful if you want to be honest. Essentially dismissing everything that came before them? You can be different and against formal education without sounding ridiculous. I'm not shyting on kids but this is something they're going to look back at when they're in their late 20s and cringe.

:scust: what man look at these kids, man. Grew up without the pressures of having to conform and started thinking in ways totally outside whats normal for me and yall. That's what happens when you grow up rich. They parents out to be ashamed. Ima blame Scientology.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
They talk like Ender Wiggin's and his sister in Ender's Game (i.e. the book, not that halfhearted movie). :merchant:

They're obviously bright kids. And though I disagree with essentially everything they said (with the exception of Willow positing that time doesn't exist. It doesn't, but that's another conversation), it's cool that they're thinking about existential and normative claims and the mythos of society. :yeshrug:

The thing is, they're not. They're afforded a lifestyle to buy into one way of thinking without giving credence to other perspectives. Yes, they're taking lessons of less conventional ways of thinking living into consideration, but this whole interview shows that's their only way of thinking, they've shunned looking at the world thru multiple lenses. It's a typical teenage behavior, but that's why I can't dap them as deep and so unconventional, they've shown no ability to contextualize nor personalize their train of thought.

Who really looks at the world through multiple lenses though? If people did that we'd have more empathy for each other not hate each other so much.
