NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
I trust my source :yeshrug:
If ya source wasn’t in the room wit them nikkas. It don’t matter. I would rather listen to the nikka directly involved. And like I said before. Black Thought got verses from just last year better than any of his old Roots shyt. Shorty ain’t been around them nikkas goin on 2 decades.

Was just watching some old Roots videos & my only thought was disgust. Like damn these cats was really out here frontin on the earths.

Not saying I believe everything Jag said or that the bars was trash but I certainly don’t doubt it either. Ive seen c00nlove out plenty of times in NYC with chicks.

By your logic, what's the point?

My source was around these nikkas the same time as Jaguar. You waiting for someone, with direct information, that has been around the last few years ain't gonna answer any of your questions or anything JW said

Black thought is considered one of the best writers in the game by every top tier MC in the game. If there was even a whiff of dude having ghostwriters that shyt woulda came out a long time ago. He's worked with tons of artists in the industry. It's comedy how y'all are always trashing these gossiping ass ho's. Now one of these ho's comes out rambling and having a nervous breakdown and all of you eat that shyt up.

I mean this bytch trying to trash commons failed relationships when she admittedly cheated on her husband with talib who she turned around and called a creep:mjlol:.....it's pretty damn obvious she's having a meltdown. There's a reason all of the artists she mentioned are still cool with eachother and she's all by herself and miserable. The bytch prolly been crazy for years. The fact that y'all are actually giving this bullshyt the time of day and the mods even upped this shyt is pathetic. The coli is fukkin trash now:scust:
Heh nikkas said the same about Ice Cube and he has a ghost writer

The ghostwriter thing....sounds shaky but I could see ideas getting lost in the sauce here and there. And I don't think you can make up what she is saying either. I definitely wondered why I never heard from Flo Brown again. Only other thing is that you can tell Jag is dealing with a lot of trauma in her life. I dunno. All I know is that she seems like she will stick to her word on this.

But he basically ADMITTED to ghostwriting in this old HipHopDX interview!!!

So either he is lying now or was lying then.

Dice Raw Releases First Official Single In 10 Years, "100"

===========
“[The song] is more important to me than any single I ever release because it’s really an incredible thing to look back at a 14-year career and see where I’m at now. There’s never really been another person in Hip Hop like me, know what I mean? I first came out on [The Roots’] ‘The Lesson’ in 1994, [and] didn’t drop my first solo project for another six years, and after that didn’t release a solo project till now…10 years later.”

While Dice has weathered a bumpy road, the artistic triple-threat burried maintained his relevance and his craft through staying tucked away in the recording studios of Philadelphia. “During all that time I was still relevant, because I was in the lab writing music that made it to huge levels of success, and nobody even knew I was involved. Because there was such a gap [between albums], I feel like putting this single out, and following up on it with the full project, The Greatest Rapper Never is a now-or-never situation for me. I’ve got so much versatile

They were a group that challenge each other on the mic with freestyle & jam sessions. Of course lines were used by one another. Thought, Malik & Dice were/are nasty with the pen and off the top. Dice freestyled their earlier album verses. Truck & PORN got mean pens too. Them dudes ain't ghostwriting for each other. NONE of them. Dice was ghostwriting some in the industry, same as Liva, Ms Jade, Young Chris...

As for the other ish, other than Com, average industry stories. But she is the average wild SP chick. I've heard that from people that know her, and I heard it years ago.

This is ridiculous:mjlol:......you just playing dumb right now. Dice didn't said he never ghost wrote for anybody. What he was implying was that HE himself never used a ghost writer nor anybody he rocked with. Which of course meant black thought. It's pretty simple to understand what he meant.

What part of "Dudes from my era don't believe in ghostwriting.Never did it. Never will" says that?

Above the fray.
Pay attention to the responses to that post. In 2010 he openly said that he wrote songs that climbed to huge heights that people weren't aware of his involvement in.
In 2020 he says that dudes from his era don't believe in ghostwriting. HE never has, and HE never will do it.

The responses (or lack of response) will tell you what you need to know about people.

And where exactly did dice say in that old interview that he ghost wrote for black thought?....He never said anything about writing anybody's raps period. For all you know he could have been writing shyt for rnb artists. "I was in the lab writing MUSIC"

Dice said flat out that he never ghost wrote for black thought. Simple as that. There's absolutely no reason to not take him for his word. Yet you choose to take the word of some ho who ADMITTEDLY cheated on her husband. She broke her own vows and stabbed her husband in the back for some rapper dikk. And this is the woman who's words you taking as gospel right now:russ:......Trying to call dice a liar yet the bytch you defending just told you point blank that she's a liar and a cheater. Jesus Christ :snoop:

As far as Dice Raw, I think Questlove mentioned Dice was their "songwriter" and contributed with hooks.

Thought is more MC than a songwriter and The Roots a.k.a. ?uest are more into long-extended jams than neat-compact 3:00 songs. Verses and jams for days, but not necessarily "hits". We all know Thought's flows and verses are on point.

Dice contributing to choruses/hooks isn't ghostwriting. Jag might be embellishing a lot on that end.

As far as that whole Neo-soul movement, people need to realize this is entertainment. Everybody is selling a dream. :yeshrug:

Just like there are studio-gangsters, there are fake conscious or fake "real" rappers. They are all selling an image to fans who want to believe it....to make money.

Look at the "what they do" video back in 96 and now look at The Roots on the tonight show. Went from the have-nots to the haves. :manny: That was their goal from jump. ?uest has always been a pop-culture junkie. Now he is in that world fully. He can't get enough of it. Like a kid in a candy store. But back then, they had to work the "we underground, we neo-soul, we real musicians" angle just to get in where they fit in the rap game. That was their hustle. :yeshrug:

Jag is right about at least one thing though: Malik B.
He doesn't get enough props. He was nice on the mic. :whew:

She making some powerful accusations. I'm gonna wait and see what these folks who she blasting gotta say before taking sides.
But this chick had alot of rough shyt happening to her.. She been raped, she got turned out(she boasted about having a bytch and having 4 nikkahs on the side), Lost her son, Husband cheated..Felt the Roots abandoned her and blackballed her... So she was waiting for a reason to go at them.

The Roots and Com gotta address this shyt. This looks BAD
