How is a team like the Chiefs not bending all the way over to make this happen? You bout to have to blow it up when Mahomes gets his ARod in 2000 type contract anyway, might as well go all the way in now.

I’m pretty sure the reports are an AFC team offered the two firsts they asked for, and they declined because the picks would probably be too low. Who does that sound like? Can’t give much more than that, especially with the Gawd coming up to break bank, Chris Jones possible huge contract, and having to likely make Ramsey highest paid CB.
Only way to offset that is cheap talent, AKA draft picks
Hadn't heard that. Thanks. These nikkas should be on full blown thirst mode IMO. But honestly if you could have Mahomes and Ramsey, it's on the GM and coaching staff to figure the rest out. If push comes to shove though, you can always trade Ramsey and recoup your picks in a couple years.
I know. That's my point. You aren't gonna be able to keep the team as currently constituted together for much longer anyway. Go all in for this year and maybe next and then let Mahomes do his ARod thing.
Owner said he not interested in trading him right now.
Right. In the nfl you gotta strike while the iron hot. fukk 2020 21 22 23. Get your 1 ship now and you build yourself cushion for half a decade at least.
Sell out while you can and rebuild again.
