He still has that motor, and for the most part, his athleticism remains.

The problem is, the actions in which he chooses to exert energy for. Hunting for box score stats to trick Casuals into thinking he's actually out there doing something instead of playing the game. If he used his energy for actually playing defense, all that triple double shyt wouldn't exist. He's resting for shyt that ain't gonna show up in the box score, and then going all out for shyt that will show up in it.

He's fooled y'all; he's not actually working harder than the next man.
Can you PLEASE make a thread called “Let’s talk about how Russell Westbrook has fooled the public with his basketball pantomime” :russ:

This is a dumb as fukk narrative that you’re pushing but your obsession is impressive. Nothing going on in the last two games has anything to do with the resume Westbrook has put out there for over a decade.

Then again you barely understand basketball outside of biases and some numbers you work together, there’s no way in hell you’ve actually ever PLAYED or understood real basketball.
@Bron Fake News strikes again with his WOAT takes.

:wow:

All the heart and hustle in the world dont mean of it doesnt result in winning basketball.

Russ has been play acting for years. Got ppl gassed off those empty calorie trip dubs.....yea so his team lost by 20....so what, he got a triple double tho:youngsabo:

There is no middle ground. Jamal just gave you the temperature of the players, but now you’d be more interested in what the coaches have to say? Nah, you seem to be looking for validation fir the narrative that’s anti- Russ. In that short clip Jamal said a mouthful, and if this was a more likable player, then everyone would sing a different tune. But it’s Russ, so his peers perspective doesn’t matter, you need to hear the coaches instead. Smh. I’d always trust active players opinions on active players, especially from their era.

This post and the amount of daps it got really speaks to the mentality on this board. Y'all nxggas are completely incapable of thinking for yourselves. I don't even know why y'all even bother even posting about the game if y'all are never going to enter any discussion from a place of honesty.

Russ is terrible and the Lakers will have a decision to make. Waste Bron’s season or try to salvage this.

Russell Westbrook is the GOAT of the box score and highlights era. A lot of people who have been praising him for years are watching him play full games for the first time and it shows. He ain't lost shyt athletically. This is who he is.
When his athleticism fades he's not gonna have anything to fall back on though is he? He doesn't seem like one of those guys that his game will evolve as he ages. Once he loses a step he's probably out the league.
