Marriota will be fine in the NFL, in fact he will be more than fine
Jameis I believe will be ok too as long as they get him a good O-line early to develop with

seriously, how many QBs need to come out of a gimmicky college offense to fail to realize they won't make it :snoop:

Mariota will be trash in the NFL and it's pretty easy to see that. He doesn't throw with anticipation. He hits wide open receivers who have to wait for the ball to get there. That doesn't translate to the NFL.

Watch Jameis throw, the ball goes where the receiver is going, not where he is.

Mariota was great for college, but that shyt won't fly in the pros. Real talk, I got Cardale Jones over Mariota as an NFL prospect. :yeshrug:

If I'm starting from the bottom up (Tampa, Oakland, Tennessee) I'd worry about my defensive line in this draft. deep class of quality guys up front & get a qb next year or see whats poppington via free agency.
:yeshrug:

In my teams case, GMEN need some linebackers, o-line, & a 2nd or 3rd round qb to learn a year or two while Eli slowly gets the hint

I have definitely noticed this about Jameis, some of them throws he makes are so brilliant, he got me looking at the screen like :wtf: how he even do that?

I don't know if I agree about Mariotta being incapable of this, it's just very noticeable with jameis. I will say this, with the speed of the game in the NFL anticipation is simply necessary; as a skill, it even got Manning through the last 2 seasons by making up for his dead duck arm, which tells you how important it is

Hopefully Mariotta has or can gain this ability, I really liked watching him play at Oregon

edit: Don' even talk about My man Cardale, that cat is a beast, he stands alone, wait till he gets enough reps:sweetjeezus:

enough of this "I like the kid" "he's improved every year" "he can handle the pressures" (tebow could too)

it's either you got it or you don't, and Jameis has the tools to be a All Pro NFL QB.....

Only things in the way of Jameis are himself and the media...
It's really the media. All the shyt he has done was so blown out of proportion. If a Cac player did what he did, it would be "boys being boys". Look at Chad Kelly. Acting like a damn fool, yet the media is one and done with him. They still talking about some fukking crab legs with Winston. :patrice:

The mariota hate in here is off the charts. People in here making it sound like he's a middle round pick. He makes pro throws, on the run/roll outs.
Stop it. He is a gimmick offense QB. How are all of them faring in the NFL right now?

I don't get this
he has a good arm, can make the nfl throws
he is fast and he has won
let's say you are right, well next year he will be in a pro offense and he may not even be the starter so he will have plenty of time to learn

the thing is, in this oregon offense the qb isnt asked to make those throws jameis makes

can he learn though?
