Does the NBA really like this player empowerment era? All the elite players want to play on the same 4 to 6 teams.

The league overall likes it because it keeps the computers puting and the league is talked about year round, essentially for gossip shyt as opposed to actual on court play (just look at a show like The Jump; I'm pretty sure I've NEVER heard Rachel Nichols talk about anything actually between the lines, but instead we get an hour every day of trade rumors and free agency deals year round). Individual teams who aren't in the running to get the players probably feel salty though.

They weren’t at the beginning of their contract. AD and Kawhi were at the end of their contract. Hardens extension jsut begun. The Spurs and Pels were in danger of letting AD walk for nothin in return. Harden doesn’t have that leverage.

I feel like Harden runs the offense that his coach’s put out there. He ran Mikes offense. He played within the offense in OKC. Russ and cp3 played well alongside him. I feel like he’d play in Nash’s offense just fine.
