You can have good and bad days. If anything the bad days make mental illness worse. So of course he's not going to complain when everything is good and react negatively when everything is bad. That's how illnesses work.
He's at practice and on the bench for games but you're saying he should void his contract bc of his illness. You just said if you show up to work you get paid right? He's showing up to work but you still think he should take a medical leave. Make up your mind. He also signed a contract with guaranteed money. He gets that if he's on the team or not. Nothing you're saying makes any sense. What are you even mad at him about about?
Thats NOT how illnesses work guy

People who deal with depression experience depression irregardless off how well they’re performing at work. He’s claiming his mental health issue is so bad he can’t even practice. If that were truly the case he would have had this issue when he was getting all of the accolades and praises. You could be having the time of your life a go through a depression spell and feel like shyt.
He’s claiming he only has mental health problems when you’re not praising him.
I said he should void his contract if he’s not going to play basketball. He’s literally suing the 76ers because they didn’t pay him when he wouldn’t play. If everyday people can wake up to a shytty 9-5 despite their mental illnesses every single day then he can dribble a fukking ball for 48 minutes for $20million. He’s not showing up to work, showing up to work means practice AND games.
Just because the contract is guaranteed doesn’t mean he gets paid no matter what. You can’t just take the money and run away. That’s not how a contract works. Just like the contract is guaranteed, he is contractually obligated to play basketball.
