he does
all the time. he goes in on white coaches too.
but that would destroy the narrative on here

obviously he talks about the nba the most because he's well versed on that. seeing as nba is 80% black, he goes in on black players more
Why that's so hard to comprehend will always escape me.

You act like you see him off the court. What soft bytch ass things has he done that makes him all of that? Bc he didn't play a GAME? Y'all act like these nikkas are 100% basketball. It's a job for them just like your job is for you. They don't protect this GAME with their lives.

A mental illness can prevent someone from improving their narrative or to change. So if he's not doing what you made seem so easy, wouldn't that suggest there is in fact a mental disability there?
Nah this ain’t it. You must live like a ho in real life.

No I work in a place that takes care of mentally ill people. So I've seen and been cool with people like that and I know it's not as easy to manage as people think it is.

Mental illness affects you regardless of if you’re playing well or not. He didn’t claim “mental illness” until the fans stopped kissing his ass. He didn’t claim mental illness when he was campaigning for rookie of the year. Now people rightfully criticize his game and work ethic and now he wants to throw a temper tantrum.

If it’s mental illness then void your contact and go take a sabbatical. But no, he wants the glamour that comes with being a celebrity and a socialite. He just doesn’t want the other side.
That’s a crap excuse. I know what mental illness is, I have major depression and borderline personality disorder. And I went to work everyday because I’m not a p*ssy. Plenty of people in America tough their way through it. He has more access to great treatment than 99% of America. I’m trying to get a med change but can’t no appointments until July. That weak dude could have a free team doctor come to him.he doesn’t play for my pacers. But if I was a Brooklyn fan I would be livid. Yes y’all be having more excuses for millionaire celebrities than they do. This new generation wants of rappers and ball players want all the glory but none of the work.

tomorrow on first take:

NOW I GOT LOVE FOR JAMIE. HE'S A BRUTHA THAT I PERSONALLY MET IN PHILLY A FEW TIMES. HE'S A GREAT GUY AND I HAVE TO EMPHASIZE THAT

HAVING SAID THAT, THE BRUTHA NEEDS TO SHUT THE FUKK UP. BEN SIMMONS IS CHARMIN SOFT. I MEAN DAMN, THE BRUTHA LET TWO TEAMS DOWN IN LESS THAN A YEAR AND COULDVE BEEN KICKED OUT IN BACK TO BACK GAMES IN THE PLAYOFFS!!! THAT IS UNHEARD OF. THAT IS CATASTROPHICALLY INCOMPREHENSIBLE. I CAN'T EVEN ELUCIDATE HOW THAT AFFECTS HIS LEGACY

This is wildly accurate. :ohhh:

I just told you how mental illnesses work. If he had a mental illness that prevented him from doing his job, it wouldn’t only affect him when his job performance is piss poor. He only claimed mental illness when the world stopped kissing his ass.

I don’t have to assume anything, he claims a mental illness prevents him from playing basketball but he shows up to the game looking like mansa musa. Not only that but his former teammates have commented about his lack of basketball focus compared to his social media presence.

You’re analogy doesn’t make sense because if I show up to work I get paid. The whole point is he’s wants to get paid to NOT goto work. He wouldn’t even practice with the team at one point but still wants his full $20 million salary. If I am feeling sick and call out of work I’m not going to take my employer to court to get paid for the day I didn’t work. That’s what he’s doing.
You can have good and bad days. If anything the bad days make mental illness worse. So of course he's not going to complain when everything is good and react negatively when everything is bad. That's how illnesses work.

He's at practice and on the bench for games but you're saying he should void his contract bc of his illness. You just said if you show up to work you get paid right? He's showing up to work but you still think he should take a medical leave. Make up your mind. He also signed a contract with guaranteed money. He gets that if he's on the team or not. Nothing you're saying makes any sense. What are you even mad at him about about?

following the NBA seems like a complete shyt show. :what: every time i feel like i should get back in to following the NBA more, i see all this kind of shyt. these stan wars for individual players seem way too personal.
That's what I'm trying to tell this fool. It's a game. They don't have to cover his shift when he don't play so what are they even mad about? It really makes no sense to be mad at him for anything

Thats NOT how illnesses work guy :gucci:
People who deal with depression experience depression irregardless off how well they’re performing at work. He’s claiming his mental health issue is so bad he can’t even practice. If that were truly the case he would have had this issue when he was getting all of the accolades and praises. You could be having the time of your life a go through a depression spell and feel like shyt. He’s claiming he only has mental health problems when you’re not praising him.

I said he should void his contract if he’s not going to play basketball. He’s literally suing the 76ers because they didn’t pay him when he wouldn’t play. If everyday people can wake up to a shytty 9-5 despite their mental illnesses every single day then he can dribble a fukking ball for 48 minutes for $20million. He’s not showing up to work, showing up to work means practice AND games.

Just because the contract is guaranteed doesn’t mean he gets paid no matter what. You can’t just take the money and run away. That’s not how a contract works. Just like the contract is guaranteed, he is contractually obligated to play basketball.
