That’s a crap excuse. I know what mental illness is, I have major depression and borderline personality disorder. And I went to work everyday because I’m not a p*ssy. Plenty of people in America tough their way through it. He has more access to great treatment than 99% of America. I’m trying to get a med change but can’t no appointments until July. That weak dude could have a free team doctor come to him.he doesn’t play for my pacers. But if I was a Brooklyn fan I would be livid. Yes y’all be having more excuses for millionaire celebrities than they do. This new generation wants of rappers and ball players want all the glory but none of the work.
Thats what Im saying. There’s people that wake up everyday to a shytty 9-5 despite their mental health yet this dude makes $20million a year to exercise and he’s claiming he can’t do that, all because the fans turned on him.

If he would have said he couldn’t play due to mental health issues when everyone was calling him the next lebron, winning rookie of the year, consecutive all star appearances etc etc then nobody would be saying anything.

I agree with Jamie.

Honestly i think Ben should/could have played at some point this year, but SAS is way outta bounds attacking him like this. Let that man work himself back however he can. It ain’t his fault the Nets played like trash and it wouldn’t have been reasonable to expect him to fix it.

He has a record of quitting on teams.

Also your opinion is not more valid than the other cat so he has a right to call him lazy if he wants, and that's not angry statement when his peers in the same league are saying the exact same thing.
I'm not saying his opinion is invalid. I'm saying don't stand on something you heard from somebody else. Just like kawhi when he played for the spurs. They were saying he could play but the doctors said he still had issues. People have reasons for saying what they say. Sometimes good reasons and sometimes selfish reasons. Nobody knows except Ben Simmons and his circle. If he says he's dealing with mental issues take it for what it is. Unless you have an inside informant it's all speculation

I felt he was a little harsh but when he aligned it with actual work and job expectations. He is 100% right. SAS had me clock in today on time and go extra hard on my job today. He is right, there's alot of acceptance of mediocrity in the black community.

His whole point is when it comes to negationations, they can use to lower everyone salary because of these folks.
