Yes. I guess this debate is kinda like the topic about the gay dancer who got stabbed to death the other day.
Did the killer start it because he was making fun of him or did the gay guy cause it because he attacked the killer first?
Are the Romans responsible because they put him on the cross or are the jews who came to the Roman prefect asking him to do something about this guy cause his death?

I mean, Romans killed him, that's just "facts" (if we agree that the whole situation even happened). Whoever called the shot didn't kill him, but, indeed, called the shot.
However it's my understanding (again, I don't know much about religion) that Romans were ruling those parts, so why would they even take orders from people they ruled over? Probably because it went towards their own interests too anyway. But it's easier for Euros (Romans being Euros) to shift the blame to Jews. As I said, Euros are the worst antisemites the world has ever seen, and have been for millenia.

This is what happens when you forget your audience isn't as black as those around you.
He can say that to a room full of black people/latino people and it's understood that he's talking about snakes in your circle and if even someone as good and pure as Jesus can get bit, don't think you're exempt.
But white/others don't have that same keyed in energy so they just take it wrong and then do what white people always do when excited.
They get loud and even if you tell them how they're wrong, they'll start spouting about "historically relevant persecution" and still make you seem like a bigot because they misread what really wasn't even meant for them.
And then the virtue signaling starts, it becomes a beast of its own, and then you've got to apologize for something you didn't say, but if you don't people will mislabel you and try to prohibit your success.
And it won't even matter because people will never let you forget how someone else misrepresented something you said and it will always be a stain on your name.

I'm saying Euros have been running with this story for centuries because it exonarates Euros (Romans) for the killing of Jesus. Which is what Euros have been doing for centuries, deny their own antisemitism in order to act as if others (Blacks, Muslims) are the faces of antisemitism.
