Been a fan of Janelle for over a decade and this album is a little bit of a let down.By no means will I say it's trash,because it's not.However,this album sounds like ANY female artist could've pulled this off.Its devoid of creativity.not the fact that it's "pop" or not urban sounding enough.Janelle is known for genre-hopping.Thats her appeal.
There no tracks on here that make u step back and go

Electric Lady may be flawed as hell but the songs that stood out REALLY STOOD OUT. I don't even have to mention AA . DC is vulgar for no real reason at times and lacks any real "wow" moments. Hope it sells well because I still want her to win.
As far as rating the albums
1.AA(by far)
2.EL
3.DC
I can see how people may flip DC and EL because the first half of EL had me like
at times.
But there ain't a song on Dirty computer that's fukkin with Victory,Sally Ride, experience or Look into my eyes imo..

Anywho, I don’t care if most in here hate on the album because I said that was what it was going to be before album release. And the Coli is basically the only place that collectively dislikes the album which speaks volumes. It’s been stickied for over a week...and the same person in particular was crying before about it and even after that, it got restickied for album release. So yeah.
