I really don't think it's a debate. Nas at his best is in the ballpark, but I honestly feel like no man in rap has been better with words than Elec. He's saying the most profound shyt in the most poetic ways possible. It's Shakespearean. I know multiple people who say they cry when they listen to some of his stuff, especially Better In tune W/ the Infinite.

I put my kufi on after listening to this.

That bean pie music.

a written testimony

taking time to write is the only way to reach above

you can even see the difference between elect & jigga here

jigga the best at the no pen no pad method

but even the best can't get the level of poetry deliberate meditative writing gets

would love for jigga to come full circle & start sitting down with his thoughts again

Yea you’re right about Los tapes 2 but I’m talking about recent nas. Lost tapes 2 is older

He hasnt dropped that many recent "albums"
I just wanna know how Travis Scott gets a feature but they couldn’t throw Nas on the last 40 secs of Universal Soldier :martin:
Fam Nas would have ate on that! Actually would have ate on any of the songs but that one in particular.

Yeah...I'm gonna have to sit down and give this a good listen later. Currently working so I can't fully get into it.

I'm liking the production on most of this but I need to sit back and digest the bars after a good blaze later

You act like Nas is some recording equipment or something...

You can’t just THROW Nas on a track. We all know Nas marches to the beat of his own drum. Nas would have to WANT to be on the track and I guess for whatever reason he didn’t make it to the sessions.

Now having said THAT

Why couldn’t they throw Nas on the last 40 seconds of Universal Soldier:mjcry:

The year 3030
After 3 more listens, loving the project a lot. Ghost of Soulja, Neverending, Uni Solider, Flux, Ezekiel, and APIDTA are my favorite. I also like how it's pretty compact. Personally no filler or skipables at all. Lyrically on point, beats are dope too. Love the ALC track.

Might be an early contended for AOTY.
