I think it’s the spectacle of it all. I haven’t physically been to a concert of hers but I’ve seen her Netflix Coachella special.

She sings, dances, has a band, uses lighting, fireworks, etc.. i bet even if someone doesn’t like all the actual songs, they still come away talking about how great her production was.

Idk how her early solo concerts went but now she has the money to go crazy on spending and upping the production value.

Have you been to a Hov concert in the last decade. If his crowd was just old nikkas he wouldn't have done multiple arena tours. It's full of white people, kids, hoes, black people, etc.
