Of course he can in every major city.
And he could especially do it if he doesn’t charge you a lung for the tickets. Say he does 50 cent prices like 50 bucks he could probably sell out a stadium tour.
A lot of stadium shows are just big events that people attend cause it’s a big event.
But we all know Jay is all about solid product and return. He’d rather have a profit maximization algo in an arena. Better show, same money.
On his own? Hell no.
Too many casuals just know him as Bey's husband or a rich businessman.
We as hip hop fans love Jay and there's enough hip hop fans and Jay fans around for Jay to sell out arenas.
But stadiums are different. Stadiums require top notch production and performances. And they're filled with people in the general public like Susie Soccer Mom and her kids or people that don't even listen to rap like that. Jay doesn't have enough fans in that category to sell out stadiums in America and he doesn't have enough global impact to do it overseas.
Eminem sold out stadiums on his own before because people that don't even f*ck with rap will check for Eminem. Ditto for Drake and even Kanye. Jay's not on that level but he's still highly respected in hip hop like Nas which is all that really matters.
It’s been a lot of hate coming his way recently, I don’t know if this is hate but the amount of stuff we’ve been hearing over the months about Jay this basically just adds onto it.
