Listen Jay Z dikk rider, if you're the stan you say you are you will have read his book where he says he dropped his album a week ahead of G-Unit.

I'm just repeating what he said
:yeshrug:

This a 50 dikkrider to the fullest. Billboard who is the OFFICIAL company has the report. Rolling stone even EXPLAINED why they dropped on the same day.

Yet his brain can't fathom the fact that in a sales battle jay defeated g unit (just like jays protege gave 50 himself that same L 4 years later)

OP I see where you're comin from... and I even posted some shyt throughout this thread to try and back your claims... but I don't think you're givin Jay nearly enough credit for all the shyt he DID do for the game.

His career numbers are more impressive than just about anyone. 10 years from now let's see if Weezy could do a sell out stadium tour. Look at 50. Dude was a fukkin colossus in the game and he couldn't fill up a high school gymnasium right now.

LMAO @ these nikkas being up in arms... hilarious.

I honestly don't have time to respond to these books yall writing from all types of directions....

Only thing I can say is: MY ORIGINAL POST IS 100000% FACT..... So, no matter how you slice it, thats my story and a fact will NEVER change.

One thing I read while skimming, that biggie didn't "run" 1994....

Listen numb nuts: I'm not about to go dig and see WHAT DATE a rappers album was released on (december) and all that shyt... I had some time on my hands when making this thread, but I'm not getting PAID for this shyt. And NONE OF US KNOW exactly how much albums somebody sold in a given year, we just know when the goddamn album was released and the final sales.

If ready to die was released in late 1994, I can easily say biggie ran 1995... 1994, 1995... fukk is the difference? The BOTTOM LINE IS, Jay didn't run ANY YEAR, lmao...

No matter if all the albums I listed OVERLAP to the next year, whatever... No way around it, Jay ran NO YEAR.... His best shot was 1998, but DMX drop Dark and hell is hot in May and Flesh of My Flesh later that year and it was a WRAP (not to mention Lauryn hill)

Yall nikkas truly tried, it's commendable...... Jay is still a top 6 rapper of all time regardless of ANYTHING, and that in itself is high praise.

But again, huge difference between Larry Bird and Michael Jordan.... If your feelings are hurt because of THAT, thats what it is.... still won't take away the FACTS I've laid out.

I don't give a fukk about a stadium bro.... I already said he might be the biggest Media Mogul in rap history.... A lot of his FAME comes outside of actual BEING ON THE MICROPHONE... how hard is that to understand?

If Tim Tebow VS Joe Montana were going to hold a seminar RIGHT NOW for Football fans... Tebow would sell out a 50,000 person stadium.... Joe Montana would be lucky to get 1,000 in a club....

Is Tebow Better than Joe as a football player?

You gotta follow closely to understand... Don't get lost in the bullshyt bro

And again: Karl Malones career numbers are better than Magics.... Kareerems Career numbers are MUCH better than Bill Russels...

Who do people normally have on top?

Jay said himself he told beans and bleek if they are going to release material they better release it NOW before 50 drops his album, because you won't be able to release nothing for a while....

This came out of Jay's OWN MOUTH.....

My point? If Pac and Biggie NEVER DIED, this man probably would be an underground rapper..... He'd be what AZ is to Nas.... He WOULD NOT be getting all the fame and shyt he has right now if Pac and Big were alive, and he admitted this theory himself when he told Beans and Bleek they better drop they shyt before 50 come.

1996? - Jay wasn't shyt, even with a CLASSIC
1997? - Jay wasn't shyt, even with good album
1998? - Jay blows the doors off with Volume 2, with biggie and 2pac snuggly in their graves and LAD hype dying down.

So OP.

If jay is top 6, let's see the #factsonly argument for the top 5 and see how they stack up to #factsonly 12 platinum solo albums over #factsonly 17 years and #factsonly 50 million records sold WW.

Pick your 5 and lay it out.

Don't hold your breath, didn't you read? He doesn't have time anymore, that's what happens when you get your bullshyt "facts" thrown in your face in your own thread, you cop out and then proceed to rant for 3 straight posts.

I find it hilarious that you're calling someone a "Jay Z dikk rider" when your only argument is "but Jay Z said..."

I don't know how many more links you need to accept your L.

What makes me a 50 Cent dikk rider? :snoop: I just quoted what Jay Z said... so is he lying?

IS JAY Z LYING?

How can "facts" be thrown in my face is that an oxymoron? Goddamn yall have lost it over this shyt:bryan:

The only possible way to "argue" against my facts is to say "but the album was released in December, so so and so didn't run that year but the next one"... I already said even if you do this, Jay STILL doesn't win any year...

Tough luck:lolbron:

I hope I don't lose you with this shyt but if you ever watched wrestling maybe you'll see where I'm comin from.

Undertaker is one of the best to ever do it. Know why? Cause he was relevant in era after era and was always a focal figure even when there were other dudes at the top of the mountain. When he first came in Hogan was the man but he made Hogan look better when the two went toe to toe. He was the first real "threat" to Hogan since like Andre. Then Taker made guys like Bret Hart and HBK look big time. Then he did it for Stone Cold. Then he did it for The Rock. And so on and so on. So yea Undertaker was never the number one guy in wrestling but he was usually doing SOMETHING with the number one guy in wrestling and elevating them in the process. And guess what, after more than 20 years... his matches are still usually one of the biggest draws for Wrestlemania. He's still one of their top guys... TWENTY years later. TWENTY years on top. Always switchin his gimmick to reflect the times, always reinventing himself. Longevity like a muthafukka.

That's Jay. You look back on ever era since 98 and he's been either the focal player or ONE OF the focal players. The fact that he continues to reinvent himself and make himself accessible no matter what new trends come along is pretty damn impressive. In a game where even the GOATS come and go in like 3-4 years... the fact that Hov is pushin 40 and still makin landmark music for this generation of hip hop speaks volumes to his perceived greatness.

The "album release date" game can work against Jay too, you fukkin idiots know that right?

Let me play yall game:

Stankonia was released Oct 31st 2000...... So, Outkast RAN 2001...... (more sales than blueprint)

Blueprint release Sept 2001 .... So, Jay ran 2002! yea!.... Oh shyt, wait.... Eminem dropped Eminem show in May 2002.... nevermind:bryan::lolbron::russ:

No matter how you twist it or turn it, Jay still loses EVERY year.... :bryan:

Lol op doesn't have time (after he lost all his arguments) to post up the top 5 ahead of jay with factual reasons why but has time to respond to everything else.

He has no argument

Average Platinum Plaques per album:

Biggie: 7 plaques (up until LAD)
Pac: 3 plaques (Up until 7 day theory)
Jay: 2 plaques

I'll take batting average / scoring average over total points ANYDAY... Kobe will pass Jordan in TOTAL points this year....

Kobe >>> The god right?:bryan::bryan::bryan:
