Jay Z is never shy when it comes to politics, so it should come as no surprise that Donald Trump will be a topic of conversation in his forthcoming interview with David Letterman.

In a new clip released from Netflix, we see Letterman kick off the conversation with a deadpan joke. "I'm beginning to lose confidence in the Trump administration," he says before asking Jay, "What do you think of that?"

Hov gives an earnest answer that focuses less on bashing Trump and more on the silver lining of this presidency. "I think it's actually a great thing," he responds, arguing that Trump is "forcing people to...have a conversation and band together and work together."

"You can't really address something that's not revealed," the multi-hyphenate business man continues. "[Trump] is bringing out an ugly side of America that we wanted to believe was gone. We still gotta deal with it. We have to have tough conversations—talk about the N-word, talk about why white men are so privileged in this country."

Letterman swiftly agrees with Jay. “I completely agree. We don't need any more evidence: Is he a racist, is he not a racist? I'm tellin' you, [if] you're having a debate over whether a guy's a racist, chances are that guy's a racist,” he says.

The preview follows other snippets from the next episode of Netflix's My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, where Jay discusses fellow rap icons Snoop Dogg and Eminem, talks about the most beautiful thing Blue Ivy ever said to him, and opens up about the first time his mother, Gloria Carter, came out to him. "Imagine having to live your life as someone else and you think you're protecting your kids," he said of his mother. "For her to sit in front of me and tell me 'I think I love someone,' I really cried...I cried because I was so happy for her that she was free."

This will be the fourth of six episodes in the show's first season, following Letterman’s interviews with Barack Obama, George Clooney, and Malala Yousafzai. The full Jay Z interview will be available for streaming April 6, only on Netflix.

i don't think white liberals want to admit how racist whites are....could be wrong :yeshrug:

they don't care about admitting white supremacy exists it gives them a weird satisfaction when you talk about how much power they have. but when you really start making moves that dismantle white supremacy :whoa:

I assume all white people are racist or oblivious to racism
:yeshrug:
Nah. They all know racism. They feign ignorance but I’ll never believe they don’t.

Too many people around them for them not to have experienced their parents, relatives friends and strangers speaking to them. Not even mentioning their parents instilling that shyt in them from birth.

How many liberals let it be known they got racist friends or parents and are struggling to change them around?

They all have a vested interest in WS. Equality is oppression to them.
