By that standard 2pac as a disgusting c00n for dissing a black woman, making songs about killing other black men and other instances....

Since we're gonna hold da gawd Hov by such standard les do that with everybody :mjpls:

Pac's career was witnessing a 19 year old barely make it to 25.

Hov is damn near 50 with generational wealth. What's his excuse for this ratchetness?

They shouldn't be looked at as heroes, but that's not reality. Most of the world(especially America) is overgrown children. They worship these false idols.

Pretty damn pompous of you to term the next man's concern for his community as fake.Especially in the defense of two juggernaut c00ns.

And since they're just "entertainers" that makes them disposable. Why throw fits when we say the trash needs to be taken out?
Have you heard about entertainment? nikka is actually on a entertainment site acting like entertainment doesn't exist.
They are obviously not making music for kids, everyone watching and listening to their shyt (and have internet access) can obviously hear and see that they eat dinners with presidents, host fundraisers, hook-up athletes, and whatever they spend their time doing. You are acting like you are Einstein and everyone else are as stupid as dogs to believe that this is not pure acting.

Nah...It's just that common sense evades a lot of people. The masses are asses.Only a fool would be blind to that fact.

No he's not, but Malcolm X did not portray us very well either.
While his intentions were good, he was no MLK when it came to portraying the black man.

In fact if we care about how one portrays us, Malcolm did a pretty bad job until his last days.
Now if he was one of the greatest and most important people is another story.

How do you figure?

Sounds like you buy into that good MLK, bad Malcolm nonsense.

No, definitely not.

To my post.

Portraying is one thing, actions is another.
Back then Malcolm was seen as a anti-Semitic, racist, religion switching, violence supporting, team-switching, communist former burglar.
Who was nothing but bad news for the improvement of racial integration.

It wasn't until his last days when he started washing his name and moving smoother.
Now the fact that he was making noise, gathering the minds of the people, standing up to oppression etc was still overshadowed by the above. It took a very long time for people to start understanding why he had some radical views and whatever.

Unlike other people like MLK who was 110% clean on some Ghandi shyt, however that came with consequences.. Certain black people thought he was a c00n, but since you are talking about how one portrays "us", I'm assuming that you are talking about in the eyes of "others".

Jay-Z is poverty pimp and has done nothing but promote a negative stereotypical image of black youth being a culture of crime and drugs. Not only to impressionable black children who follow Jay-Z's lead thinking they will become someday like him but also to the world at whole. Is the best our community has to offer a guy like Jay-Z? The world probably thinks so.

I don't see why you're trying to detract from my statements by calling me white when that isn't the case. On a positive note at least if you become a criminal defense attorney Jay-Z insures you a positive ROI.
