Jay Biggie & Nas are the kings when it come to subliminals.

yea definitely

although this was obvious to me at the time

only because of that check ya own video your number 2 line that was the instant

THATS MASE!!! part lol

the rappin on r&b records was vague because at that time not a single damn r&b song didnt have a feature rapper lol

he was real subliminal with it even with the ghostwriting part as most didnt(still dont) read the liner credits for who wrote the songs

but that number 2 line was the dagger lol

Young, the archbishop, the Pope John Paul of y'all nikkas
They way y'all all follow Jigga
Hov's a living legend and I'll tell you why
Everybody wanna be Hov and Hov's still alive

Honestly though, Jay was playing Catch-up to Ma$e Success wise so though "Ride or Die" and "Imaginary Player" were both leathal, Ma$e clearly got him on "Love Me":

What we hear is platinum that, platinum this
Platinum whips, nobody got no platinum hits

Cats know with me platinum always wrap my wrist
I come to the awards, quadruple platinum chicks

Little ones like twenty five, what cats get smacked with
Big ones like fourty five, what cats get clap with
I react sick whenever my dough ain't accurate
Harlem World, Jr. Mafia, yeah and that's it, come on

Ma$e was spitting facts there, Jay was still a Gold artist at that point.

jay killed him with the check ya own video you'll always be number 2

and ill make more off your own album than you

since jay AND skillz had ghost written rhymes for him for his album

game over

That's not the case. Jay has ghostwritten for artists, but he's not saying he wrote for Mase. Mase was writing for a ton of folks, why have Jay write his shyt? Jay had a feature on Harlem World, thats what he's talking about.
