it is what it is. If this didn't drive ratings, they wouldn't do it because most in the media (especially the suits who drive the programming and make the decisions) really don't give a shyt about what he was protesting for. The just want everyone's eyes and ears on their programs.

Arik Armstead says injured shoulder won't keep him from season opener

Arik Armstead hasn’t played at all this preseason because of an injury to his left shoulder, but the 49ers’ first-round pick from 2015 believes he’ll be in the lineup for the season opener Sept. 12 against the Rams.

“It’s nagging,” Armstead said of the injury Tuesday. “I’m going to be fine though. Nothing to worry about.”

Armstead briefly answered questions about the shoulder while it was wrapped in ice after practice Tuesday. He wouldn’t rule out the possibility of eventually needing surgery.

“It may. It just depends. I don’t know,” said Armstead. “I feel good right now. Just keeping my maintenance up with it and just taking care of it. I think I’ll be fine.”
