why isnt baalke happy about it tho ? we were eating Kaeps salary anyway.

with this performance of driskel they can probably put driskel on waivers and get him on PS. hes a long term project

Well, he won't get cut due to performance. If he does it'll probably be from pressure from the outside. I don't think Chip gives a shyt. Baalke and Jed may be a diff sory though.

That said, cutting Kaep would be retarded given your 2nd stringer would be Ponder/Driskel...backing up Gabbert who is pretty much backup material.

I dont see how Baalke is anti-Kaep tho. he couldve cut him before. he worked out a trade when Kaep requested one. Baalke had plenty of opportunities to get rid of Kaep if he really wanted to, including drafting a QB up high. He didn't.
