Damn near everything you mentioned can be fixed and immediately improved to at least middle of the league level with better coaching

As far as the defense yea you are right. I don't see how that would effect a young QB tho, aside from not winning a lot of games, which with a rookie an wouldn't be expected anyway, most important for a young an is a solid o-line which I believe is in place now.

defense is by far the young qbs best friend, I dont know how you cant see it
defense takes pressure off by limiting the other team. then offense can run the ball and ask a young qb to make only select throw instead of trying to be a hero.
