If we somehow manage to win this game on Sunday, we'll have finished the 1st quarter 2-2 which is not bad.

I agree. We need a 1-2 punch at RB. Carlos is good, but he'd be better if we had a change of pace back to compliment him. Right now, Shaun Draughn isn't cutting it at all. I'm kind of mystified that Draughn was the best we could do for a #2 back.

It wasn't Trent Baalke has dropped the ball time after time. If we're angling for a high draft pick this year then ok. We could have had Arian Foster for pennies.

Not worried about Dallas at Home. Think it's a W . After 2 bad losses. This is a must win because if you can't respon to 2 blowouts at home then the season is a lost cause. Kaep should start but they using the excuse that Gabbert shouldn't be benched after Carolina and Seattle on the road

It did against the Rams, but this ain't the same D as last year and Jim O'Neil is a shyt head of a coach so I expect an L
Naw, this team plays with passion at home, for whatever reason the defense doesn't travel

I think it's a lack of mental preparation and attitude

Chip Kelly was back on KNBR Monday morning for his weekly day-after show. The hosts asked him if he was considering opening up the QB competition again. Kelly referenced Kaepernick’s injuries and recovery in his response:

“Well the competition’s always been open, and again, I think people fail to realize that…Kap was hurt. He missed the entire offseason, he’s still getting back into form. You know, he usually plays at about 225. He’s not at 225, right now. He missed an entire offseason of lifting, had thumb surgery, shoulder surgery, knee surgery. So, he’s still coming along. And as he got back toward the beginning of camp, only two weeks in, he hurt his throwing shoulder, separate injury. Really, just a fatigue situation because he hadn’t gotten an opportunity to buildup, and really train the way he wants to train. So, he’s still coming back from what happened to him and knocked him out of last year. That always factors into the decision before he’s ready to go on the field.”

I don't get why some people keep mentioning Baalke when talking about the decision to insist on Gabbert at QB. What does Baalke has to do with a coaching decision? And isn't he pretty much all alone without much backing from anyone in the front office at this point?

I get Chip not wanting to rush Kaep back but if he we are going to continue to play Gabbert there better some kind adjustment. At least tell that motherfukker to keep the ball and run and make the read option work. I don't know how anyone would expect a better run game when the defense already knows the play that's coming.

If we make Dak Prescott a fukking star I'ma be pissed.
