Yeah it's what they get signed for. It's crazy people think labels are pushing for artists to experiment outside the box of what they were signed to create. Once again it's another example of people trying to blame a corporation they are giving money to about the content they put out to purchase. Corps will never act ethically unless FORCED TO. If we want it to change we have to PAY to see and hear artists that talk about other things. But you wont get this because a good chunk of the base paying is white people who like this imagery too. We listen because it's too close to lived experiences for some of us.
